Annual Community Clothing Drive
Saturday July 19th from 9am-12pm @ the LDS Coyote Building on 2715 Coyote Rd. Drop off items Monday July 14th - Thursday July 17th from 6-8pm.
Please keep in mind as you begin going through your clothing items to make sure they are washed, in good condition, and separated in bags by gender and size. School uniform items are especially needed. We are unable to acept undergarments, household items, or toys. Shoes, backpacks and purses are accepted.
Volunteers are needed to assist with sorting donations on Thursday July 17th from 6-8:30pm. Please contact Michele Merrill if you are available .

San Tan Vallely SNAP
(Special Needs Activity Program)
Thursday evenings 7-8:30pm beginning August. Location still to be announced. STV SNAP has been organized to serve individuals with special needs ages 18 and older. Activites are designed to help participants grow spirituallly, socially, physically, and intellectually (see Luke 2:52)

To transfer temple recommends to digital, the bishopric who issued the original recommend must transfer it. If a previous bishopric member who issued the recommend was released, it cannot be transferred. Mobile recommends require a photo.

Church Dumpster
The dumpsters are for church use only. If trash is dumped outside of the bin or over the top rim there is an overage fee. Please remove the trash from the building after each activity. Diaper pails are encouraaged to be emptied between each ward meeting. If the neighborhood dumps large items in and around the dumpster, please contact a ward leader.

Do you Enjoy Teaching Youth?
Help online seminary students deepen their conversion to Jesus Christ and enjoy the blessings of service by volunteering to serve as a stake called online seminary teacher. The Southwest Online Seminary program in the North America Southwest Area needs volunteers to teach online classes for seminary youth ages 14-18. Online Seminary provides learning experiences that are Christ-centered, scripture-based, learner-focused, and Spirit-directed that can help students deepen their conversion to Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. You will teach from the standard works following the Come Follow Me schedule. Being a stake-called online instructor is a rewarding experience that includes connecting with learners online throughout the week in Canvas and in a weekly Zoom gathering.
Qualifications:
• Hold a current temple recommend.
• Be able to serve 6-8 hours a week, including 1 hour for the weekly Zoom gathering (available daytime and/or evening)
• Have access to a computer with a webcam and stable internet service.
• Possess an outgoing, friendly, and pleasant demeanor and enjoy working with students.
• Be physically and emotionally capable of interacting with students. Be able to remain calm and communicative during stressful situations, with special consideration for instances when students may be dealing with physical, mental, or emotional challenges.
• Be able to follow direction and handle changes in policy and processes.
• Be comfortable using computers and computer applications, including email and the internet, and have a willingness to learn new computer programs and processes.
• Possess good verbal and written communication skills.

Online Institute provides learning experiences that are Christ-centered, scripture based, learner-focused, and Sprit-directed that can help students deepen their conversion to Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. You will teach from the standard works, words of the living prophets and correlated institute curriculum. Serving as an online service missionary is a rewarding experience that includes connecting with learners online throughout the week in Canvas and in a weekly Zoom gthering Teaching these online Institute courses is an incredibly rewarding experience. Teaching consists of interacting with students online and gathering virtually with them once a week for 45 minutes. Online Institute Missionaries spend about 5-8 hours each week in this assighment.

Need for service missionaries at the ASU Polytechnic Institute.

There are many hundreds of new BYU-Pathway students in the Africa South Area beginning their term of study very soon. Africa South BYU-Pathway needs as many senior service missionary couples or individuals as possible, who could serve 10-15 hours a week remotely from their home. They would help by shepherding. mentoring, and ministering to college students to develop faith, life skills, and academic abilities. Please ensure that the Church building you are using is locked and lights are turned off. If there are others in the building, please secure as much as possible and confirm the others in the building will lock the rest of the building. Youth should never be given their leaders or parents keys or FOB to be in the Church without adult supervision.
